If you want to see another neat example of high and low rise buildings coexist go to Google Street View and look at 1212 Astor Place in Chicago.
Why is this important? Because supporters of strict height limits such as Washington’s argue that if the limits are relaxed, Washington will become a “high-rise city” like New York or Chicago (which I guess means that high-rises will just gobble up everything like Pac-Man). The failure of high-rises to conquer every urban block shows otherwise.
