2.5 million votes were cast yesterday, up from 2.15m in 2010. And Walker won anyway. Lesson: Republicans don’t need low turnout to win.
I wish the Florida Republican legislators who seem to be cooking up all kinds of loony voter-suppression schemes (such as essentially banning voter-registration drives) would realize this.
